Hi Fellas,
Well where to start,I bought a 94 RX EFI patrol,with no motor,I bought a motor and proceeded to fit same,everything went well until time to start,
First I noticed a plug that is situated just behind the alternator which doesnt seem to have anywhere to plug in,it has 2 wires Blue with White stripe and black
So tried to start, NO GO...Check engine light comes on with ignition and goes out when cranking over.further checking ,I find that I have 12v at positive side of coil
but ALAS no spark at the dizzy...it has an airod lpg unit fitted....tried to by pass this but still the same results,,,NO GO...Good thing I am already bald...contacted the previous owner
hee told me the patrol was a good runner until overheated and cracked the head....so have to assume every thing was alright when it was going ....ANY HELP would be appreciated..:drunk:
