Hey everyone quite a few of you would have already seen my intro post but I thought I should probably start a build thread as the truck is my new and second pride and joy right next to my 91 Subaru Liberty RS Turbo

I will be asking a lot of questions along the way as I am new to the 4x4 scene

Anyway at the end of 2014 I was made redundant with the company I had been with for 4 years so I received a handy little payout which bought me this baby

2003 GU III ST
210***kms
5spd
Dealership hooked me up with 3 year warranty.. new tint all round and elec rust protection..
No mods at all so far except for some dirty heavy duty springs elec trailer brake control and a tidy brand new TJM Bullbar which I should be able to fob off for a bit to help pay for the new winch bar

ASAP Mods list:
NADs with boost and EGR gauges
Catch can
Snorkel
K&n filter
33's and a lift kit.. undecided on 2 or 3 inch lift..
oh and remove that dirty pinstriping!!

the rest of the mods:
winch bar + winch
dual battery setup
rear drawers
fridge
rooftop tent and side awning
lighting (LED bars spotlights etc and lighting setup to supply lighting for campsite)

I have probably missed some things on the lists but you get the idea..

I pretty much want to build a truck suited for touring with the ability to tackle the tracks

anyway I hope you all like my new truck and enjoy my build along the way!!

Neat looking car. Have you asked TJM if you can fit a winch in the bar? TJM use a cradle to bolt the winch to the chassis rails behind the bar and only the fairlead goes on the bar. It all depends if there is a spot behind the number plate for the fairlead.

I didn't think of that rock trol I will definitely head in and ask them about that.. Even though I'm not planning on keeping that Bullbar but it'll definitely help for the time being.. Thanks mate!!

Welcome Nice Patrol

Just a couple of Points.

1. Does your Warranty cover you if do the NADS & also Lift.
2. a 3" lift would not be legal
