Hi All,

Have been searching and reading around for a bit.. Does anyone know what bushes commonly need to be replaced on a GU wagon and what the associated symptoms generally are?

I have read plenty of advice of sticking to genuine bushes.

I think one i have worked out, is front panhard bushes give a wobble, still not sure what rears do.

The problem I am trying to root cause is a sligh back-forward-back motion when you come to a complete stop.

Any help would be appreciated.

rears will give a clunk as it takes up the slack
and yes OE is preferred

Is it coming from the front or the back? If the back axle, check the lower control arms, then the uppers.

If the front, check the mushroom bushes on the chassis end of the radius arms.

Let us know what you find

Cheers

checked out tonight. Control arms all seem good. No clunks present. Panhard lower bush seems worn, I think the rocking motion caused by tyre pressures, might be running a bit low. What do most people run on-road?
