I have just bought a second hand alloy factory bull bar for my 98 GU, the bar has indicators and park lights in the bar with a small three pin plug behind each light cluster. The guy I bought it off said that there would be a plug just sitting there waiting for me to plug in the bull bar lights, however I can't find this plug. Is there actually a plug or is this guy FOS?

Have you popped out the main light assy from the guard and had a look behind?
I have found the repeater cables stored up there on occasion.

No, I haven't done that. I took off the small trim panel at the bottom of the headlight but couldn't see anything there. How do the lights assemblies come out?

There's extra wiring all over the gu. Might be taped to a loom somewhere.

When I did mine for my GU bullbar I didn't find any plugs. I ended up cutting the plug off and soldering into the existing indicators/park lights. Easy enough to do with a good soldering iron

If you do splice into the OE wiring please solder and use heat shrink and/or tape.
Dont use scotch loks they will fail

My GU is a very early one, the stereo harness looks a lot like GQ. Maybe the headlight wiring is GQ too, did they have the repeater cables?
