Hi all, Have a silly question and hopefully someone can help me… My Shorty that I bought had no dizzy and coil and the wiring was done by someone who had no idea what he was doing…Just spent the last two weeks rewiring the cab and have everything re wired inside and horn and everything else ,,, Issue is I'm stuck on the dizzy, coil, and resistor
Just bought my new dizzy from Recarb on the Sunny Coast with a Patronix ignition, Bosch GT40R Coil and brand new resistor from Repco… I know that the Neg from the Dizzy goes to to the Neg on the Coil and the Positive goes to the outside of the resistor…i have the white wire on the other side of the resistor giving me 12 Volts on both sides ofd the resistor and I have two red wires and a blue wire left…I don't wanna fry the module up so any advice would be great..

On start you need 12 vots at the positive of the coil, while run is arond 9 volts. When running a gt40r.

Note though the pertonix can sometimes play up when running at 9 volts,

On my tb42s, I have removed the ballast resistor. And im running a pertonix flamethower 1 coil and pertonix ingition. I just joined the start and run wires together, also did you get an extended ignition button

One of the wires go to you taco and I think 7t goes to the neg on the coil
