Ben Napier racing his Bomber in the Shootout and Legends Class at EMC and then his Penhall in the main race. Qualifying in the Tuesday Power Hour.

Pete Antunac (Owner of OPW and Tuff Truck) is racing his brand new creation. Pete's always been a fan of Hummer portals and rear steer and his Ultra4 car reflects this. Portals all round, IFS AND IRS and rear steer this thing is unlike anything else. Add to this a 700hp 10.2L big block V8 and it's a wild ride. Will it work? Pete's hoping so! Pete has 3 times KOH competitor Mal Van Yesseldy (Van Alphabet). Crew Cheif is Dave Camp and is getting help from Bruce BZ Zellar. A cool team. Their car has just landed in the States and the guys fly over next week to continue testing. Pete's qualifying 30th on Tuesday.

Mitch Thorpe is racing his newly completed Alltech South Ultra4 built by Matt Dunk (if you've tuned with Wayne @ KOH you've probably met Matt). I haven't seen it in person yet but it looks like a sturdy clean car. Not much test time yet so they are probably in for a lot of work when they get in country. Mitch is riding with his Dad Brett. Both are experienced Tuff Truck competitors and have been doing some high speed racing in Queensland to prepare. Qualifying Wednesday and sponsored by LowRange Off Road.

Wrapping up the Aussies is someone I know the least about so maybe someone can fill this in a bit more - Norm Walters is racing in both the EMC Modified and the King of the Hammers I believe. Norm's experience is in the Outback Challenge and other similar really tough events. His race car is 'winch truck' inspired and based on a Nissan Patrol. He's qualifying for the main race on Tuesday mid pack and has drawn second on the EMC starting grid.
