About my 89 GQ with a TD42
I've had the old girl for a few years now. When i first got her she had 350k on it but i have now got her up to 440k and still going strong. It was pretty well stock apart from a 2" lift and dual battery system. Since then i have only done a small minor things, I added A Uhf, some IPF Xtremes, light bar (ebay special), Roof rack, Ironman Snorkel, Cargo Barrier and most recently a RooSystem side awning. I have ordered a 3" lift kit with 41mm Tough Dog shocks, king springs and drop boxes. I'm waiting to turn up in the next week :D

Cheers.

good sturdy rig mate, the new suspension will make the ride so much better.

I love the two tone Trols, black over silver.

nice colour combo mate, like it................ not as nice as a white GQ though but then again, I'm a wee bit biased ;)

Hate it when a plan doesn't come together. My lift was supposed to arrive this week but hasn't, what to do on this weekend i left free to fit the lift?

Last weekend was productive. I managed to get the springs, shocks, drop boxes and brake lines in. Can already tell the difference in ride feels much better. Only problem its a little twitchy so got panhards, draglinks and sway bar extension links in the mail.

Recently had a set of 33's fitted to my car. I ended up going with a cheaper tyre to give them a crack, they are Tempra Trail Cutters R/C on 16x8 black sunnies. I wanted something that was in an A/T but these still have a fairly aggressive pattern so will be interesting to see how they go in mud as well.

I think I fixed it guys. Been a while since I've put an update, hasn't been anything to update anyway been moving house. The last few weeks I've been able to get a start on a few things. Got a start on my draw system, but that came to a screaming halt when I went and got another Gq parts car over the weekend. Now that i can have mine off the road for a while, I have removed and cleared out the right side of the engine bay ready for the turbo to go on :D :D happy days.
