Been bloody hot up north, yesterday where it was 52 where I was. Glad to be home today after couple of weeks of that.

So did I but apparently Oodnadatta then Mardie it would seem according to the BOM for peak temp.
I think Marble Bar has the record for consecutive days.

Anyway, it is on the Internet so it's probably wrong.

What I can tell you is that I am working just south of Marble bar and that is is hotter that the inside of a supermodel's knickers after a dash to the salad bar.

Number 1 Son drove from Hedland to Carnarvon today and said it was a tad warm and he was glad he wasn't out on the rail crews like he used to be

On the 9 news this morning they had a live cross to Marble Bar , it was 4am in MB and the temp was 37 already

Really it did. 48.6 or 48.8 degrees can't remember which one.
