Hi guys my name is Matt I live in the hunter valley NSW my nick name is pacman. My hobbies include boating / water skiing with my young family & caravaning.
I am new to forum sites & need advice & support for a 2001 GU ZD30.
I bought the car with a failed engine.
Bored honed / crank polished / new cylinder head / intercooler & turbo.
Dawes valve & electric lift pump installed.
Engine drops into limp mode on acceleration or easy driving, boost has been adjusted from 10psi up 18psi limp mode can be over riden with a release on throttle & a reapply but drops into limp mode again.
I have read lots of post explaining similar faults but with no final result / resolution.
Limp mode does not present any codes.
Any ideas????

Ohh might want to back the boost off to 15. or go and buy a needle valve that will control spool up rate

Hi pacman and welcome to the forum, I'm of the opinion you need the Dawes valve as well to eliminate the the limp mode, search in the box top right for nads, all the info you will need is in those threads.

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.
