Hello,
As some may know I own a 1993 TD42 for the twin vnt setup. The car itself does I buy in the UK but was registered in Ireland. Now I have a question, the registration certificate tells me the car is a 1993 Nissan Safari CRGY 5DR 5DR with chassis number CRGY60130153 (that is what the certificate tells me. Now on the rear door the car has a Patrol4x4 tag so I don’t know… is this a patrol or a safari?

This is the identification plate that is located in the engine bay under the bonnet.

This is the back of the car

Someone who can give some more information about this and maybe track the VIN number and give some more info about the car?
Thank you
Zjuul

From all accounts a Patrol and a Safari are the same thing mate just marketed differently in different countries. The Y60 is the key.

Is yours 12v or 24v? Most safaris going into New Zealand are 24v where as all the patrols in Australia are 12v

it is a 12V, I know they are al the same patrol and safari just a bit strange that the registration papers tell it is a safari as the body badge is patrol...
I guess that it is imorted to Ireland but don't know from where, it is a RHD vehicle...
is that a normal chassis number? I tought that nissan started with JN... ?

Fender lights are cornering lights they'll light up when low beams are on and indicator per side activates and at certain speed. It was availaible as an option in Australia to. Your car is not from Australia, if it was it would have letter M in ID plate sequence.

Looks like it's a Safari with changed rear doors from Patrol.
Mine Safari has 12V so 12/24 V is not a point.
