When changing a flat battery do I need to us a memory keeper? I have an 06 4.2 Turbo Diesel. The missus had a battery mob come out to replace a flat battery in her Yaris shopping trolly and they used a memory keeper. This got me thinkin about the Patrol as it has some minor electronic gizmoes.

Nah, you should be able to swap it over.
Depending on the radio and how quick you are you may not even have to retune the head unit.
