Kinglake Drive V2 - SUNDAY 18th

Alright, so it's the correct date this time.

This SUNDAY the 18th of Jan I'll be heading to Kinglake for a drive if we can get a group together.
It's supposed to be raining so hopefully it's slippery and moist out there.

I'd imagine it won't be anything too over the top so don't worry and think you'll hold the group up, everyone is welcome.

It will be a good chance to get the cars out and to meet some of the NP crew.

Difficulty: 2.5/5

Preferable Minimum: 33" MT/AT, Winch

Obvious Essentials: Recovery gear, recovery points, good attitude!

Meeting Point: Corner of Whittlesea-Yea Rd & Whittlesea-Kinglake Rd - 11:00AM (open for change, whatever suits the group)

Its not at all mate..... 2 weeks running where I am out in the bush, bloody ripper.

Drag the kids up to Wilhelmina falls mate. Its a fair walk around 40-60 minutes each way but pretty good at the end. Just watch out for the snakes on the tracks up there. Cascade falls are good to and only a five minute walk.

I think I am out too unfortunately. Still have a few things to do to the car and want to get semi packed for Krissos. Yes we are staying at the Ada River camp Thursday, off the Errinundara Road, turn left off the Princess about 10 K's before Cann River and head through Club Terrace.

Not at all. Just some of the big holes still had a fair bit of water in them.
Bit of a shame thou, didn't get to use the winch.

How were your temps on the long hill climb, I thought you were having fan issues??

Nah, Mark kept on saying that he shouldn't be leading, but I think it was better that way. We could see how easy/hard it was and I based my decision on which line to take on that.
Temp hasn't been a problem since I took out and cleaned the radiator and refilled with coolant, but it does seem to use a little coolant over time.
