There has been a post on TD42 extractors - I'm interested in extractors for the TB42

I have been considering fitting extractors.

Q. Is there a Power / Torque / economy improvement.

Background
The main reason is I have now problems with the flange bolts just below the manifold coming loose and have also had the exhaust pipe just below the flange crack. I have also seen another tb42 with the same issue - cracked exhaust at the flange.

I have fitted a flexi joint after the second flange - to help prevent this issue.

Fitting extractor will eliminate this issue

I got a decent economy increase with the extractors on my TB42.

Funnily enough the extractors I fitted to my TD where off a TB, would expect better gains on the petrol. There is a mount along side the gearbox for the front pipe, had to adjust it to suit post extractor mount.

i had good gains from fitting a set of pacemakers and a 2.5" system to my tb42e in both power and economy, got as low as 13L per 100km on the fwy. still wont be a rocket ship but went pretty well for what it was
