Where did you hear that? Most sites still reporting it as missing. It was trying to avoid a storm before it disappeared

.....on the move

I believe there is unconfirmed reports of wreckage being found. It is not sure whether or not it is the wreckage from the air Asia flight.

To True mate...

Did ya see that story on the family of 10 that didn't check their emails for any departure change (it left 2 hours earlier than initially scheduled) and missed the flight by a couple of minutes.
They weren't the only ones either.

God/Fate/Karma/Allah/Dumb Luck was smiling on them.

I heard it was hijacked by Qantas as they needed to update their fleet

Find no humour here, sorry.

Our girls are flying Malaysia Air soon, it's a bit closer to home for us.

Best thoughts to the families of those on board.

When I choose an 'airline' it has to have a kangaroo painted on it's livery or I don't get on the plane...

RAAF, or Qantas, so far, so good.
Or should I saw so far, so freakin' awesome.

A few months ago, the RAAF clocked up 800,000 accident free hours on C130's over more than 50 years and 48 airframes.
I was working on them when we hit 100,00 and 400,000 and the latter was a big deal at the time.
C130's are operated by 48 countries around the world and 47 have pranged at least one of them.
I would reckon it is odds on the boys will hit 1,000,000 and that will be without precedent if they do.

Qantas have never lost a jet and had no accident passenger fatalities since 1951 which is also without precedent.
