TB42 GQ Carby to EFI - what do the parts cost?

Hi Guys,

Im just curious if anyone has purchased all the EFI gear for a carb to EFI swap and what it set them back? I would like to do the swap and have seen complete GQ/Maverick's for $300 (very rough) or complete engines in EFI are $100 etc. However, I do don't have the room for a donour vehicle etc.

How long is a piece of string?

Cost depends on how lucky you are in finding the bits - I got my conversion bits for $100 (CPU. Inlet manifold, dizzy, Loom etc) I had to obtain a power tranny and a efi pump / send for the fuel pump.
