Hi all,
New member here. I joined a while back but I think this my first post. Been a patrol owner since 1986.
First was a MQ shorty, 3.3 diesel and 5 speed. Had a rear wheel carrier and PTO winch. Used as surf hack, then sold to my brother who lived in Cooktown.
Next was a 1992 ST GQ coil cab. Was a nice ute in its day and used as a work ute. Ended up being retired for comp work. Tarted it up this year after 22 years and sold it.
When it was retired from work use I bought a 2005 GU ST coil cab which it my current ride. All the lessons I learnt from modifying my GQ have been applied to my GU. Its running 3 inch flex springs, 6 inch bilstein shock, drop boxs etc etc. No comp work (yet) for this one, but I did get third this year in the mud drags at battle of the states
