I have all the plumbing sorted, and the voltage switch and solenoid is ready to go. So do I understand correctly that the Dawes are either open or closed, so they simply control over-boost, OR do they actually adjust boost (seems unlikely) ???
I have adjusted the Dawes off line with a pressure regulator and gauge to open at 12psi low and 18psi high and there seems to be no "in between", but chatter if I hold exactly on set pressure.
I understand the needle valve controls turbo spool up --not sure why one would want other than early boost to avoid lag.
Comments, advice information please.
