Chasing a fuel pump for my carbi to efi tb42 conversion, the pump I am looking at is 225lpm at 40 psi walbro also has 190, from what i have read the tb42e runs 80 psi so that flow rate will come down some. Will it hurt the fuel regulator or will it be able to handle it?

Are you sure the TB42E runs 80 psi fuel pressure? That's quite high. The TB45E only runs ~38-42 from memory.
I know someone who tried 70 psi and had issues with fuel getting past the injector o-rings.

The standard fuel reg is pre set to roughly 40 psi unless you take the vacuum off it, it will stay at the preset pressure. I dunno where the other bloke got 80psi from
