Hi all

This is my first post and i will get around to posting in the introduction section, all in good time.
Anyway i have a td42 y60 safari and i am wanting to know what is the correct path for the heater hoses to go. is the exhaust side hose that go's into the lower thermostat housing supposed to go to the top or bottom hole that go's through the firewall to the heater core?

Also wich is the inlet and outlet on the heater core hoses top or bottom? I need to back flush the gunk in there as it wont flow anything.

Thanks guys can provide photos if no one knows what im on about.

Same thing looking for my rd28t.
From my experience heater matrix hoses go something like that:
One hose on head or block to receive hot coolant and other one on a connection that water pump absorbs.
Seen on mine the bottom hose has an arrow sigh indicating to cabin direction.Check on yours.
