Hi Forum Members
My name is Peter and I live in Brisbane. I am the proud owner of a 1990 TD42 Naturally aspirated Patrol. I bought the truck about 12 months ago and have slowly been doing her up as a cruising machine to tow my cub brumby camper. So far I have:-
1/. Fitted new genuine mud flaps
2/. Replaced the rear sliding windows with aluminium replacements
3/. Fitted a new nissan tow bar
4/. Fitted Poly Air Airbags
5/. Rebuilt to hole front end suspension including new drive shafts, brakes and shockies
6/. Replaced the steering box with a brand new series 2 to unit. The steering is fantastic now.
7/. Fitted two 120 amp batteries to rear of truck being charged via a ctek DC to DC charger
8/. Fitted ALDI 55w HID Driving Lights
9/. Fitted TJM Bush Bars / Rock Sliders
10/. Fixed a broken rear sway bar disconnect using a Kit I got from Pedders.
11/. Fitted aluminium roof rack and awning
12/. Fit a Alpine Stereo
13/. Fit 80 channel GME UHF Radio
13/. Fit 2 cup holders
Future Projects:-
Replace the motors in the washer bottle and replace check valve to rear windscreen washer
Replace the Headlight wiring loom with kit I bought from Traxide RV

I love my truck to bits she runs like a dream. I only use Liqui Moly Oil changed every 5000k. I am looking forward to chatting to you all and learning heaps and helping others during my time on the forum

Keep on truckin
