I have a tb42 carbi ute i am converting to efi, tb42e. Had a look at my fuel tank and it does not have the big sender/pump holder efi tanks use, just a one piece tank persay, flow and return pipe are welded into the tank. So an internal is out of the question unless I can get it mounted to the tiny sender holder. Will an external pump be able to suck the fuel to the top of the tank to pump fuel alright? Was hoping to get rid of the mechanical carb fuel pump but maybe ill have to use this to feed an external pump? Most forums v8 commo ones say not to use a external pump as it will loose prime on corners and stuff. Please help just about ready to start installing all the cleaned efi goodness but obviously need something to pump fuel.
