Gday all from dizzy new patro gu98 owner

Just a quick hello,
I'm a 36 yr old male who has just bought 6 months ago a nissan gu patrol 98 and am so
Proud to own it.its a project for me as iv not owned a diesal ever and am very impressed iv even started upgrading the old girl.so far iv put on a 3 inch exhaust to free up the turbo. I pretty impressed with the results. Next thing to do is an chip upgrade as well as tinting the windows.next yr I'll upgrade the turbo and inter cooler .

Welcome to the forum mate, if you have a td42 you cannot do a chip upgrade as like mine it is mechanical not electronic, you need to get it tuned by a diesel tuner who will crank up the turbo boost and advance the injector pump timing :)
