Anyone used Online auto parts? I see they are the cheapest for tough dog 50mm lift. I spoke to Tough Dog and they said this was an "online" dealer. I asked for quote on GU 2010 wagon TD 50mm std with 40mm non adjustable shocks. but the part number for the rear shocks is for GQ which according to TD wont hold the rear up so well as they are softer than the GU std 50mm units. am I getting stock pushed on to me or is this a known thing to do by fitting GQ rear springs on a GU?

I thought they were interchangable MR would know for sure . I've used autopartsonline
a few times and never had a problem, drilled and slotted rotors and pads are one item I brought.

Are you talking just shocks or shocks and springs? Shocks have no affect on the height. Springs on the other hand...Not sure on exact spring rates but the gu is heavier than the q. Some people put the gu springs under the gq and they'll sit a little higher. For example; 2 inch lifted gu springs will lift a gq around 2.5 inches.

sorry I meant to say part number for rear springs was GQ, so yes TD themselves said it would not be right as it would sag at the rear if the front was GU spring and the rear is GQ. Not sure why a TD dealer is trying to pull a fast one by selling me excess stock of the wrong part. I will now look at paying 400 more and get the same thing with correct springs from a dealer which has bricks and mortar with a door you can walk into. I guess the bricks and mortar and holding the right stock would add cost. but 400+ more than online dealer is a bit steep.
