1991 rd28t injection pump timing

Could not find any info on setting timing with the dial gauge for rd28t.
Only info i found is the 4.2 engine with ve pump.
Could you help?

Hi!
If you are talking about injection moment it's a marks on the pump body and the engine.
For the test ride, just align them. And then with step 0.5 mm moving your pump clockwise or counterclockwise and you will find normal moment after a few test rides.

It must be checked with dial gauge.On ve bosch that i managed to find info it is under 1mm to just a little over 1 mm read movement of plunger,depending on engine type pump is used on.As it shows in 4.2 data that i attached a print screen.
But for the rd28t engine i can't find any info.Can not believe that.. :(

Yap, there is no info for RD28T.
I just set up mine by align marks.
