so I've packed the car and want to whack some air in it before heading off for the weekend,can someone tell me quickly what is the recommended air pressure to put into these things..i have no manual as they where on the car when I purchased it...TIA...got half an hour before strop gets here

It depends on the load and you should always keep about 5 PSI or so in the bags.

Ideally when loaded you put in the appropriate pressure to return the vehicle to it's normal attitude without exceeding the max air bag pressure.
Max pressure changes from manuf to manuf and can be as high as 50 PSI

I have had up to 35 PSI in mine but its a Cab Chassis with a large overhang on the tray running flexi coils

... should have added that it is best to inflate the bags to about 25 PSI before you load up then adjust the pressure

I've got Firestone's and recommendation is not to exceed 29 psi.

I also read that you should inflate before loading the truck and then adjust to suit. Empty, I normally have 5-6psi in them too.

yep,ended up doing what ET said..just put enough in it to make it sit level..12psi worked.just got back a little while ago

never got to read this before I left...

as i said mate i run mine at 15 with a full load or 10 when semi loaded

Yea I take up to 25 before loading then take down until I just see the dropping a little. Don't want the bag taking all the load

you can get Kevlar bags put over these and then you can raise pressure to 60psi
