GQ Mud Flaps

Hey guys.

I have a 89 Patrol and it's rear mud flaps are almost toast. I am wanting to replace them however $90-100 each for new ones are a bit pricey. Are there any other options, like something off something else that will fit well enough. I could probably make up new brackets myself so that wouldn't be a huge issue. I just want to see if there are any alternative options out there before I take the DIY route.

Also is it a legal requirement to have them on? Can I just take them off and leave them off? What about front ones? Is it legal to not have them?

Hey mate,

It is a legal requirement to have them fitted front and rear. I have never ran front mudflaps and have not had a problem, other than my car gets really dirty really easily.
