Where does it say $200 Plus freight?
I will warn you about this mob. I have sitting here 4 of the 185W jobbies, did have 5 but 1 set is now on my car, 5 of the 111W's and 5 of another companies 90W lights. I ordered the 111W and the 185W back in September, all with wiring looms. They only arrived Monday. After many emails and no return emails I was getting quite frustrated thinking they'd done a runner with my moolah. They finally turned up and one set of lights was missing its protective cover and I was missing 5 wiring looms and two looms were broken. So I am currently trying to get them to sort this out before I put them up for sale.
My next order for these won't be with this mob thats for sure.
Edit : The ones I have brought in are the black rimmed style. I didn't bother with the red ones.

You wont get them for that. $100-$150 USD a piece, or each light plus freight.

I just finished making these up in Photochop.

Funny you say that. I was going to order from them. Then this mob came back with a better price and were all nice and polite. I handed over nearly 4k to them and didn't hear boo for nearly 5 weeks. Wasn't happy to say the least.

As per my comment in the "What did you buy today" thread about these lights... My mate is still waiting for response on the warranty regarding his LED's fading on one of the lights. The other one is still going strong. Shame as physically they appear to be a very solid unit.

Who did he buy them from Eric. Some of these companies are quite dodgy. I recently changed suppliers for the aftermarket air flow meters. They arrive and none of them have the sealing oring around them. I contact them and they tell me they don't come with them a no other supplier does too and it will cost X amount to get these orings. Funny that my previous two suppliers did. As soon as they get your coin some don't give a rats.

What are your thoughts on them Stropp? I put the 185's on and they look a bit too big for my liking. Maybe because I'm used to the smaller IPF's I had on prior. Light output I haven't really had a chance to test out yet.

@ Mudski I run 9" HID driving lights ATM and have had no problems with air flow whats so ever

Just read a road report on the ARB ones and they state they go 900 mtrs so not too bad at all.
Also my mate has just installed those LED headlights with the fan, must say the fan is noisy as.
not sure you'd hear it in the cabin though, but a fantastic white light,
. Cant remember what he said about high beam, but he seems happy he has some light bars to help out.

@ Stropp how do you find on coming traffic do they flash you to tell you to dip your lights?
Mates were 6000K so very white, are they ADR approved?

Pretty good when dark but havrnt really given a proper test yet. I wouldnt say these would go 900metres. My old IPF HID'S would but not these. Its a different light output, something to get used to.

thanks mate good to see a bit of room in your shed lol
I thought 900 was a bit far but thats their sales pitch I suppose.

Stropp
8th December 2014, 02:54 PM
definately not 900 mtrs, as i said not as far as the lightforce hid but still pretty good.

Mate showed me his LED headlights with a fan over the weekend , boy the fan is a bit noisey IMO
maybe not audible from the cabin though.
I loved the pure white light they gave out but wasnt dark enough to see how good they were.
Especially on high beam, imo you need the light out there

How do they look ? Quality wise

They look quite good I think. As for quality they are pretty good. They are quite heavy too. I was a bit surprised when I first picked one up. The body is cast with the large heat sink on the back for the heat to soak into.

Stropp
19th December 2014, 12:26 AM
Well got the lights fitted and overall I'm happy with them, the low beam is brilliant but there is very very little difference to high beam! 52857

That's low beam you cannot see a visual difference in high

megatexture
19th December 2014, 12:55 AM
So both high and low look the same? Do you think cars will be blinded ?

Stropp
19th December 2014, 01:55 AM
No mate high beam does move up but it does not project any further, it reaches about the same as my old globes but is much much whiter, I passed several cars and had no problem with them flashing at me so I assume it's all good.
