What series is what

Sorry if this is a freqquently asked question. but what years are what series patrol. I have an 04 4.2 intercooled turbo diesel. any 1 able to tell me what series it is.

And if you know what dif ratio they have?

It will be written on the compliance plate.

Depends on build date as early is gu111 and late gu1v, mine is November build so gu1v and more than likely diff ratio will be 3.9, as col said check the plate on the drivers side of the firewall in the engine bay.

And if it is a ute it will still be a Series 11 right up to end of 4.2TDi plated 06 but still sold well into 2007.

The diff ratios are on your compliance plate as stated. I agree with Stropp, likely 3.9s and could be either GUIII or GUIV if the later then it is current shape.
