Which oil?

Hi all,

I have a petrol tb48 which is due for its 6 monthly oil and filter change. I put a new engine in the car 2 years ago so I'm particularly anal about checking and replacing the fluids.

To date I've been using the Nulon 15w/40 synthetic, but it is getting very pricey.

Is it worth the extra expense or have I simply been a victim of marketing?

Its the heart of the Patrol buy the best oil you can IMO
I use Penrite 5-40 , would love to run RedLine but way out of my price range

Less is more, more is less. So if you run an oil that isn't quite as good you should change it more often, if you run a better oil then it will much better over your service interval and intervals could even be longer.
