Bent my front sway bar on the weekend (apparently big logs are stronger than Patrol sway bars :( ). I have spent some time searching the www but can't find suitable replacements (i.e. none for my model) anyone got any ideas where to look.

Thanks for the link, had seen that lot but they say not suitable for diesel (?) Want to keep the truck legal (for roadworthy and insurance) so a bar must stay. I understand that heating to bend, or even cold bending, will weaken the bar and make it pretty well useless. Will keep checking the wreckers.

I can't see anywhere where is says not suitable for diesels?? I can't imagine why it would fit? I am not aware of a GU running a number of different sway are depending on the engine? Give the supplier or specifically Whiteline a call and discuss. Whiteline is a premier brand and they will have something for you without a doubt.

Liftlid has Whiteline sway bars front and rear on his GQ I think.

This (http://www.whiteline.com.au/do_segue4.php?make=NISSAN&model=PATROL&model_final=PATROL+GU+Y61+WAGON+%26+CAB+CHASSIS+%2 8SAFARI%29&vehicle=10%2F97-2010)is their website link, says "Suits models with OEM sway bar & excl all GU 3 & Diesel models - non adjustable"

I might give them a call and see what they have to say.

I am curious to why its not for diesels. The weight?
