Gidday all

Just decided to take up 4x4ing and planning some touring around the country.

I've just acquired an old 98 GU 2.8l with 330ks on the clock to learn the ropes. I've got a bit of work to do it on. She needs a new radiator and clutch fan, but looking forward to getting stuck in.

Ultimate goal in a year or two (or maybe a bit longer depending on how the skills pan out) is to do a crossing of the Canning Stock Route. But will be trying to get around the place close to Sydney before then.

Have stumbled on this forum a few times already. Looks like some pretty good insights and knowledge. Hope to take some of the wisdom, and once day keep passing it down the line.

cheers.

Welcome to the forum!! These guys (and girls) are a wealth of knowledge - me not so much LOL

I come to socialise and read through all the threads for interesting tid bits. Pretty much everything is covered but the best part is you're not made to feel stupid for asking questions ;)
