Can any1 recommend a good place to get intercooler from? I'm intercooling my 2.8 turbo diesel gq, most likely looking at a front mount, I've heard there r some good places down Adelaide ??

Cross Country...
It was a long wait and then parts were missing. Not very happy initially BUT success is measured both technically and in customer satisfaction. The process through to the end result is what is important to me.

CC solved the issues, along with help from this forum, and I am extremely happy with the high quality product and performance. CC also did a followup cust support/sat call on a weekend which was very nice. I knew that there would not be head snapping off the line performance increase, what is really impressive is the rate at which EGT fall after a heavy pull and the lower overall EGT's under the conditions I've driven.

I would buy this product again without hesitation and look forward to paring in with the 18g turbo I've ordered.

Or if you don't want to pay a fortune, you could get a cheaper unit like the diesel smart exchange units.

Mine was under $500 exchange and it made a massive difference on EGT's especially how much quicker it drops, after the car is pushed a bit. Very impressed with it.

How about this: http://www.frozenboost.com/air_water-ic/water-to-air-intercoolers-p-216.html

Having it for 6 years now and never had issues.

It has got me beat why ppl pay 3 to 4 time more than a radiator for a small intercooler.
like i said it has me beat, Im sure you can find one to suit your motor for less than $1300
what a rip off, Most cores to suit say a ZD30 only cost around $80 tops ,
now tell me there is $320 worth of welding and parts. rant over

Hey every1 sorry I haven't replied in so long but I've had the worst thing happen! I went out the other wknd for a bit of a wheel and supposed to camp but unfortunately a combination of things went wrong and I rolled my truck :( it's now been written off...... Feels worse than a close relative dying

Yeh true mate , only thing is that truck was a very big part of my life, spent 5yrs building it up from a heap and a lot of dollars , and had just got her right where I wanted her , then this happened.
Looks like it's time to start again

S#it mate that's no good. Just glad everybody is OK after it. That would suck. Truck can be re-bought, re-built, and now you know exactly where what and how from the previous experience to build a maybe better truck?
