Hey guys
Has anyone here attempted to remove a dashboard from this vehicle, is it something i could do myself or better to leave it to the pro's, as i mentioned in the R.I.P thread, my brother cut out the passenger side dashboard for a laptop project but i will now take that out and replace it, did these vehicles have airbags?
Im pretty good in the electrical department, installed many full stereo systems in my time and don't mind tinkering to have a go at things
thanks guys

Yes, they are not too hard to remove, you should have no problem, your car will most likely only have had a drivers air bag (steering wheel), but removal of the glove box for inspection will 100% confirm the absence of a passenger dash airbag (doubt it will have a airbag if Bob cut the dash open anyway)

Hmm, ye bob cut out the part where i suspect a airbag would go, and the glovebox is not there, atech has confused me even more now ahaha, best i wait till i go up there and see what hes left in the garage, might be better i leave these questions till i get all the parts and the car back to Sydney

I have a 98 GU and it has only one Airbag on Drivers side.
Maybe the TI Model had two Airbags

Ok heres 1 of those stupid questions i said i would ask, does all GU patrols have the same fitting parts? As in, i can fit a part from a 2001 GU to bobs 98 GU
And i found a dashboard for $80 from the other forum, cheap

And the reason i ask that, is because i saw on here that bob was having an issue with the door panels from a Ti to his ST where the handle goes, not sure if hes fixed that
