Hi all
With the link I attached, I was wondering how the front pumpkin diff brace is attached? It comes flat, so I'm assuming it has to be belted into shape to suit the pumpkin? Welded on first in the centre then hit with a hammer?
Just curious how others have done it.
Cheers

Looks like your on the money to me. Seems like an odd way to do it to me tho.

Looks like it sits snug over the axle tube, hard against the side of the pumpkin, then weld.
Shouldn't be any hitting involved to change the shape.

No it's a Weld On longnitudinal diff brace kit. The smaller gussets weld around the swivel housings. It's designed to brace the diff from Bending when you jump it. My front diff is braced with a different kit on the GQ.
The T piece with the holes in it is the pumpkin guard and you weld it on and shape with a hammer to the front curve of the pumpkin. It is a T shape and goes across the pumpkin and goes down to the bottom to protect from frontal impact
