Hi all,

I've recently purchased an 02 3L Patrol, which had full nads installed at the time of a reco engine being installed.

I've been following this forum since I decided to start looking for a patrol, so I must say thanks for all the available info that has potentially saved me from buying a loaded hand grenade.

I've only had the vehicle for 2 weeks and we're off this weekend for our maiden voyage.

Thanks again
Heath

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.

We aren't venturing too far this time around. Just some tracks around sunny corner and then spending the night along side the Turon River between dark corner and Sofala

Thanks clunk, AB

it does have an exhaust manifold leak that the previous owner hid from me by turning out the needle valve.

Is it as horrible of a job as it looks to be too change the gasket?

Thanks stropp, by the looks of the weather forecast I may get to test the muddies out :)

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The weekend camping trip was good. It's always nice to go wheeling for a weekend and not breaking anything, unlike the times with my old hilux.
