Hello,

I introduce myself, Chris (Christophe) and my wife Nicki (Nicola)I am French and my wife is English, we live in France in the south, in the city of Toulouse (or AIRBUS aircraft is manufactured).
I travel to Africa (Maroco) with a Nissan Patrol Y61 2.8 td6 and we go in Australia from January 30 (Darwin) to February 15 (Perth)... I'll probably have to ask info ...

welcome to the forum chris, it will be very hot and humid in darwin at that time of the year, i hope you are prepared for that :)

Welcome Chris and Nicki. Make sure you post where you are when you get to Australia. There are members all over the Palce between Darwin and Perth and if you have any difficulties there maybe someone nearby with help or advise.

Thank you for your posts ... I look through the forum already
I know that Darwin its very hot and humid in February but I wanted to travel the west side from north to south ...One problem is that renters 4x4 are closed from December to March yet I found a Toyota :1087: Rav4 with roof tent ... but I will do mainly road.

During that time of year carry extra water even if you intend to stay on the main roads. About 10 liters per person is good.

G'day mate and welcome to the forum.
I'm not so sure I would be attempting Darwin to Perth in a RAV4 at that time of year......depending on route of course.
