Injector pump advance plate

Hello all, just ordered an advance plate. And was wondering, if when i undo the two blots to remove plate will there be any springs or anything else pop out unexpectedly ? or is it straight forward? thanks for any help you can provide. :)

Ive never done it before, but im either thinking of the advanced plate mod or blocking egr mod. Anyway, I think you unscrew the screws a little bit but not all the way out, and slip the plate in? Happy to be corrected
