Thanks guys. Don't have a Patrol yet, in the market for one and hoping to buy one in the next month or so. Hoping to find a bit of information so I can make an informed decision.

Hi mate and welcome to the Forum, avoid the early diesel models 2000- 2002, but plenty still going strong
with NADS. Petrols have power to burn and very cheap .

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Looking at an early model GQ because of my budget. Wanting it for towing my motorbike, camping and basic 4x4'ing. As it would be my daily driver though I am worried about fuel economy as I have heard they are thirsty
