Hi guys, my name's Tom, it appears I need to open my eyes a little, as I realised I should have done this first before making my post, but hello anyway! :)

I am from the beautiful coastal city of Wollongong NSW. I have a 1998 GU RD28ETi1 (dead stock and unchipped) and she's been the love of my life since I got her. Comes equipped with 2x Narva 225 HID upgrade spotlights, 22" LED bar, 12000 lb winch, Tough Dog 4" suspension lift, MT Baja MTZ 33" muddies, ARB air compressor, dual batteries, Oricom 80 channel UHF and 3/4 roof cage.

Excited to become part of the gang! :D

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.
If you want to find it, go to the search bar for a universe of information.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

Hi Tom, welcome aboard mate. Plenty of useful info on the little rd28eti here. I have a '98 GU also (albeit a TD42t now) great platform and with the right love and servicing you should get many many years out of it. There is some good threads on here about making the 2.8 more reliable and extracting that little bit extra out of her.

Thanks heaps guys, and thanks sooty_10 as well, I'll be sure to check them out, because I seem to be having a few issues at the moment as it so happens.
