Gday. I'm Throbbinhood, from SE suburbs in VIC.

I drive a LWB GQ which is slowly being built up as a tourer on 35's haha.

I used to drive a Hilux. It was a good rig, but I mistreated it, and kicked the living daylights out of it.

One day I went too far, and ripped a shock clean off, and ripped the ubolts holding the leafs to the diff. Roped it up as best I could, and limped out of the bush. Stopped at maccas for a feed. Went back out to start the car, but there was a pile of oil on the ground. Uh-oh. Cleaned it up, filled it up with some more oil, and fired it up. Oops. She decided to rev by itself. Past redline (it was a diesel). Shut off ignition. Still revving. Uh oh. Put it in 5th. Drop clutch. Stalled. Phew. But, damage was done, and the car need more work than I could afford. So, off she went, and I had a few year hiatus from off roading, but now I'm back!

Haha, was it that obvious! Plenty of useful info here, so I'm sure I'll be harassing people with questions on a regular basis.
