Yes, I am a female! And no, that doesn't mean anything!
Or maybe it does.....
I dont think I am as interested to do a lot of work on my car myself. I am sure I can't even do it, because I lack the necessary technical jargon :)
I have an 1984 MK (always thought is was an MQ, but think it really is an MK, pls confirm?) SD33T Wagon. I have been everywhere in my Red Devil, and I really cannot part from her.
She has been really strong on all my travels and not had major problems, bar the usual stuff. Starts slipping a bit in first gear, but still having the original clutch and gearbox I dont think I can complain.
I have a question about an automatic hub that I lost from the driver's side on the highway (of all places), and I will post that in a new thread (yes, I have been looking at all the threads about it).
I will attach a photo so you can see my pride and joy. The photo is from 2004 but I like to believe she looks just as shiny still ...:)
See you on the forum or on the road

Welcome to the forum Jet, what part of Queensland are you from (guessing from the number plates)?
You're going to have a new best friend when Tim (Finly owner) see's your MK, his is nearly identical.
Tim will also be able to help you with parts.

Hi,
I am from Brisbane, but originally I am Dutch. We don't know much of 4wds in the first place, haha.
I am quite proud of myself that I have found her about 7 years ago, myself. (after a lot of reading, test driving, forum and internet searching etc).
We have been pretty much everywhere in Australia including Cape York, Kimberley, Pilbara etc. Next trip I would like to do Simpson Desert.
I just took some photos of my "problem" which I am going to post a question about right now.... Hopefully Tim is looking then..;)
