Hey guys, my Gq has a 2 inch lift, I was wondering what the best tyre width and rim offset would be on a GQ with a two inch lift??
Some photos would be pretty great too!

Cheers

I run 33x12.5x15 on -22 offset rims. These generally are the norm for GQs

Yep 33" tyres and a 2" lift is a very common set up. Tyre and lift choice should be based on the type of driving you are expecting to do and whether or not you want to keep it legal

-22 is the ideal offset. Just make sure you have flares

sweet as, sick shorty rusty_nails! Is -22 the best offset for a 12.5 thickness tyre?? And do they scrub at all with this setup?? thanks

hi mate, its not my shorty any more, i have a GU now. there isnt any scrubbing with 33x12.5x15 and yeah -22 rim will do you sweet. it will also give u a good stance on the road =D

Oh sweet as! Yeah sounds good, wanted to try and keep the whole lift and tyre thing relatively legal for the moment as I haven't done a huge amount of 4 wheeling and just wanted to ease into it. I reckon a 2" lift and 33s is a good start??

a 2 inch with 33's will keep you legal (at least in NSW) anymore than that and you risk being defected. also, for MOST situations you wont need anymore than that and it isnt cost effective to go bigger for the amount of time you will actually spent using the extra inches

Yeah thats what i was thinking, a bit of a pain going higher and I'm pretty happy with the clearance on my GQ and it came with a 2 inch lift and 31" At's. Good to keep it legal and capable, this seems like the best option
