GQ Patrol brake proportioning valve

Hi Guys ,does anybody know where I can get a NEW proportioning valve for my Gq WAGON from, nobody seems to be able to supply one. I can get one from nissan ,quoted $1000 plus ex japan , had it rebuilt but still leaks. Looking at getting it resleeved but need it back on road quick. Thanks Phill WA

Get a second hand one , get it resleeved then just change it over .

reckon Pearcey's right. There's plenty of wreckers with the part around although I don't know where Spearwood is so maybe access is not so easy after all.
Gotta say though.....I'm an old fart and come from an era when if someone 'fixed/repaired' a part and it was still NBG, they'd take back and do it again, no extra charge.
Have you questioned them yet? An honest tradey shouldn't be hard to deal with. You'd hope.
