Hi peoples,

My name is Mat and I'm new here. Just bought a 2001 GU 3.0Lt to replace the old 60 series Land Looser.
She's a pretty neat unit, factory winch bar, IPF lights, 9000 LB Warn winch & 3/4 tradesman rack.
It had a new motor (not a re-co but BRAND NEW) in 09 and has done 40k since.
I am having intermittent issues with "fault code 31ECMII" and will be cleaning some earth straps this weekend and clearing the fault (fingers crossed).
hope to get and share some good info here..........

Hi mate and welcome , have a read about NADS for your motor will give you longevity hopefully.
Ask away as there are no silly questions ,
Wow from a 60s to a GU if that's not chalk and cheese don't know what is. Enjoy
Disconnect your battery for a while too 1/2 hr is heaps

The 60 series was petrol/gas too! took off like..... 5 minutes from now..
I have done the battery disconnect and also had Terry from Hi Tech dyno scan it yesterday (after reading some Forums on here) he is round the corner from my work and thought I'd take a look - what a top bloke!!
It does not happen that often mainly if you turn engine off and re-start within a short period, then if I doe 2 or K's turn it off wait 30 secs and restart MIL goes out.. I'll start with the earth leads and eliminate from there.
Thanks for tip about NADS threedogs.
