Hi all just took ownership todayof a Manual 08 ST CRD. I am hoping to get some knowledge from other owners on every aspect of the vehicle as I live semi rural good mechanics aren't easy to find.

It is in standard for with a chrome bull bar. Was a one owner with full service history (bbiggest selling point) only downside is it has 250, xxx kms on the clock. But was priced accordingly.

Can't wait to chat with some of you !

Shane

P.S. Will post pics tomorrow

I don't know about that Westy, my wife drives my Patrol to work as i have a company car and I really worry about the clutch. Don't tell her I said that.

Agreed I'm sure if she was to drive it I would need to replace clutch and gearbox lol

Needs more time behind the wheel ;-)
I prefer my wife in the gq manual then the ford auto coz she takes her time. The ford is 2 speed. The Nissan, well is a slug so she takes her time and enjoys the ride more. and so do I, less white knuckle fever :-D.

I say the patrols are easier due to not really needing to work the clutch and accelerater at the same time, not sure on the 3ltrs of course but 1st is so low you just easy out the clutch and then accelerate. Then the rest of the gears flow.
Much easier than a little city car where there minds are on changing yet the things pinging it's tits off due to not concentrating on the accelerator..
Anyway, just my view.
Get her behind the wheel out bush for a few hours and she'll enjoy the whole 4x4 side of things from a whole new angle.
