Hi everyone,
long story short, about 2 weeks ago my 4.2 Dual Fuel Gq patrol was perfect. It would start on LPG and drive with no dramas. Last weekend I decided to go for a drive and BAM car wouldn't start. Initially I had thought I had ran out of Petrol and LPG as both gauges were sitting on just above empty.
A mate of mine towed the car, we filled up both petrol and lpg and again would not start. The car will crank and crank and crank just not fire up and start. (I have a sound recording if that will help)
So far I have done the following:
Changed the spark plugs as were old
Checked the ignition coil from what I can see if volting fine
Changed the rotor NEW
Changed the distributor NEW
Battery is only 2months old and is fully charge
Taking the air filter off and can smell LPG fumes coming off the carby.
Starter motor is fine as the car is cranking
Any help would be great. This is really doing my head in!!
Thanks in Advance
Ryan
