pro comp shocks

hey guys im trying to find out what size shocks I have in my gq I have a 3 inch lift but have been told the shocks might not be 3 inch. ive tried googling the numbers I found on the shock but im not having any luck. the 2 numbers I got from the rear shocks are

C029A1

any info would be great thanks

Measure them....

Dont worry to much about " 3" lift shock" title just focus on their open and closed lengths.

what should an open and close length be for a shock to suit a 3 inch spring?? reason im asking I wanna make sure the shock isn't to long that my spring will fall out

Jack the car up ? And test it
Every brand will have different lengths
