I have just bought a digital multimeter http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=139 and EGT probe for reading my exhaust temperatures

And would like to purchase another one and use it for reading boost on my TD42Ti.
My question, is anyone familiar with their diesel boost sensors? http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=201

It looks like there is a nipple on the plug, im assuming it gets connected to the manifold/intercooler via rubber hose, can anyone confirm this? I have already emailed them but they cant help as they're not familiar with this engine

Are there any hoses where I can insert a T piece? Or any factory threaded locations on the manifold/intercooler where I can install a nipple?

Cheers for any help

It's been a while since I've seen the engine bay of a TD42TI, are you able to take a few photos of the inlet manifold, intercooler etc from different angles and post them up for me to look at.

Had a look around and saw a hose coming out the top of the intercooler, surely it would work if I placed a T piece between here and the sensor?

With it being at the top of the cooler, this should give an accurate reading of what boost is being pushed through the manifold.

That hose looks like a good place to start.
