Warning to all DeWALT Battery Operated power tool users.
Be aware that there are eBay and other on-line sellers of DeWALT products supplying an
“Australian” 240V battery charger model number DE9135. This charger is not approved for
use in Australia or New Zealand as it does not comply with Australian electrical or
electromagnetic compatibility standards and should not be used.
Some on-line sellers are also offering 120 Volt American chargers with a transformer.
These chargers are also no approved and should not be used.
The only genuine stand-alone battery chargers approved for use by the regulatory
authorities in Australia and New Zealand are:
DC9000-XE – 36V charger
DC9310-XE – 7.2 – 18V multi-chemistry charger
DC9319 - 7.2 – 18V multi-chemistry car charger
DCB100-XE – 10.8V lithium-ion charger
DCB105-XE – 10.8 – 18V lithium-ion XR battery charger
DCB107-XE – 10.8 – 18V lithium-ion XR battery charger
DCB119-XE – 10.8 – 18V lithium-ion XR car charger
