Long story short, I want to take my CB out, which is glued in just under the radio, in the empty hole.
I believe to do that, I need to take the dash board out.
Anybody have any STEP BY STEP instructions on how to do it.
TIA.

Unfortunately no.
From memory, they guys started around the glove box area. I just need to undo the aerial from the CB. Hopefully I will be able to gingerly then remove the CB.

You should only have to pop that fascia out that the stereo etc is mounted.

Sorry guys, change of plans.
I thought it was glued, but there's 4 bolts holding it in there. Too difficult, actually can't be bothered. lol.
I was looking at buying a roof console http://www.consoles.com.au/Nissan_PatrolGUCab_deeplow.htm
coz I've bought myself a 27mhz CB and was going to put them both up there.
I'll just change the design of the roof console I want. It's OK and out of the way where it is (just under the standard radio).

Its the obvious black section that is different to the rest of the dash. It justs clips in there from memory and takes a little force to pop it out.

Thanks. I might give it a go.
That's exactly where mine sits, too.

Im struggling to be specific cos im tired lol. Its that whole face with the sub tank button and aerial switch in it that you unclip then yoi can access stereo and uhf mountings.

Yep, start at the bottom left and right sides, about an inch in from the vertical edge. Use a flat blade screwdriver with some tape over the end if you don't have the panel removal tools. It pops straight out - piece of piss. Then un-clip the dash buttons, and remove the facia out of the way. You then have access to the screws holding in your uhf.

Just watch there isn't any screws holding it down just above the aircon controls. As said, start at the bottom. It will just pop off. Once you've done it once you'll be fine.
